Avant-rock trio Mountain Men Anonymous create a mesmerising and terrifying wall of noise, finding crescendos well after you think they've gone as mind-crushingly high as they possibly can. Yet amid all the fury, there is an undeniable element of delicacy. On Krkonose, their second album, the band have given this element more room to breathe. With skittering electronic clicks and singing complementing the guitar 'n' drums battery, this record is an unnervingly beautiful confection.
